Alpha Estate Xinomavro

Twelve months in French oak barrel medium grain, white roasted and 12 months in bottle. Bright purple-red colour. Complex, typical bouquet of small berries, red fruits, leather and spices (vanilla, pepper, cloves), with hints of ripe blackberries. Full-bodied, rounded tannins, balanced acidity and well-integrated wood tones. Long finish with intense quince aroma. 100% Xinomavro.

Alpha Estate Syrah

Bright, deep ruby colour. It has beautiful Syrah fruit, silky and ripe. Rich and complex bouquet, earthy, dominated by aromas of leather and cherry brandy, with peppery and fluffy background. Generous, full-bodied, tough, robust wine with a velvety palate. Vanilla, wood, mocha and toffee hints. Slightly tannic rich finish with lingering aromas. Its potential complexity is constantly evolving. A "Vin de Garde" with a great future. Twelve months in French, fine grain, medium toast oak barrels and 12 months in bottle. 100% syrah.

Alpha Estate S.M.X red

Maintenance of the wine "sur lie" for eight months under regular stirring. Eighteen months in Allie Bertrange oak barrels medium - light toast. No treatment or filtration before bottling, and 12 months in bottle. Deep ruby red colour with purple hints. Powerful, penetrating aromas of sweet cherry, candied plums and toasted vanillin oak. Full and deep in flavours of dark fruit, with peppery and strong oak spice accents in the background. Firm tannins build through the finish, but there is plenty of supporting fruit depth here, not to mention a bright acid lift on the back that adds energy. A "Vin de Garde" with a great future. Syrah 60%, Xinomavro 20%, Merlot 20%.

Alpha Estate Axia red

Greek xinomavro and French syrah dance together in your glass. Alpha Estate from Amindeon, northern Greece. A red wine with serious woodiness. Beautiful, purple-red colour. Complex, typical spice bouquet (vanilla, pepper, clove), with hints of ripe blackberries. Full-bodied, with vanilla aroma, rounded tannins, balanced acidity and wood tones. Long finish with intense quince aroma. Its name means 'value'. A wine for lovers. 50% xinomavro, 50 % syrah.

Alpha Estate malagouzia

100% malagouzia. Brilliantly, light yellow in color with greenish tints. Strong and lively nose, typical Malagouzia, suggesting rose petal with floral aromas and sweet spices, melon, litchi with a note of honeysuckle. Round and mellow on the palate, fat but balanced, high in alcohol with plenty of finesse. Well structured, reminding the nose aromas with a hint of rosemary. A richly textured wine with superb length and balance. A classy wine with long finish and persistent aromas. The vineyard lies at an altitude of 620-710m.

Alpha Estate rosé

The wine is cold soaked at 5°C for 12 hours and has a fermentation at gradually increasing temperatures, giving it aromatic complexity. Bright pink colour, with salmon hints. Fruity nose with rich expression. rose petals and strawberries. Well-balanced mouth, quite full, bold but balanced, recalling the nose aromas, with a long finish. 100% xinomavro.
