Produced from the domain's oldest vines, with small yields. Extensive maceration of the skins and alcoholic fermentation take about 20 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and barrel maturation in French oak barrels in the underground cellar. This wine has a rich structure and a complex flavour reminiscent of dark fruits such as blackberries and black cherries. On the palate, it is rich, round and opulent. The dark fruit character lingers along with subtle oak notes in the long, supple finish.
Ideal for wine connoisseurs who want to age their red wines in a cellar for 20-25 years. Shortly before drinking, the wine's aromas are released when poured into a glass decanter for 30 minutes.
