Roditis (Alepou) is a very balanced variety. It flourishes in the soil of Tirnavos area that gives the best result. The result after the distillation in traditional handmade copper stills is excellent. While the distillate of Roditis comes from a mildly aromatic variety, its aromatic character is strengthened through the distillation process. Roditis is a rosé grape variety. The harvest of the variety takes place at the end of September and the production process is the same as that of Muscat. The "Dekaraki Roditis" is produced only from Roditis grape and has very distinctive lemon and fruity aromas.
