Few people know exactly what Majuni contains. The exact recipe that goes back centuries remains a secret, perhaps because no one knows what would happen if so much... magic falls into the wrong hands.

The mysterious and special liqueur with its distinctive, bittersweet flavour is made with more than 15 different herbs, spices, roots and flowers from all over Greece, which - through delicate distillation, extraction and ageing processes - give the authentic Greek herbal drink a complex, balanced and contrasting physiognomy and a bright amber colour. The nose is dominated by its spicy character, with thyme and ginger accompanied by spicy notes of sage and citrus. The flavour, enigmatic and unusual, with angelica and liquorice added to the aromas, skims between sweet and bitter. As complex as life itself: Sweet and bitter at the same time, but always harmonious.
