This variety is a rather large olive. The most famous olive variety is grown in the certified area around the port city of Kalamata, in the south-western Peloponnese. The family business Dragonas collects and trades this special olive. An olive with a soft and fruity flavour, a large stone and a pointed shape. Hand-picked and matured in a mixture of sea salt and red wine vinegar. Real Kalamata olives are only made in this way. Taste them!
