Ilias Kanakis and his family have an olive oil press in the village of Papoulia, just above Pylos in the province of Kalamata. With much love and respect, the oil is pressed and bottled here. The olive oil is made from the Koroneiki olive. This is the best type of olive to make olive oil from. The oil has the Kalamata PDO certificate.
