A few years ago, the FnL guide called it "a milestone in modern Greek winemaking" and we think it still is, thanks to its unique personality. Dark red, almost impenetrable colour. Complex bouquet created by both variety and barrel. Sour cherry jam, plum, fig, black pepper, bitter chocolate meet hints of vanilla, cedar and leather. Soft and warm at first, rich and savoury, with well-integrated tannins, it does not lose its elegance thanks to its acidity. Ripe fruit and spices constantly make their presence felt until the very long and persistent finish. Grapes from certified organic vineyards. Fermentation in oak tanks and maturation for 24 months in new French oak barrels. It is bottled unfiltered to allow sediment to form in the bottle. Decanting is recommended. After the vintage, it will continue to evolve for at least 15-20 years. Syrah 90%, Agiorgitiko 10%.
