A Greek cannot actually go a day without a biscuit, which is why we have a very wide range of different biscuits. You might recognise the well-known brands Caprice and Gemista but we also offer fresh and artisanal biscuits. Let's start with Papadopoulou, the biggest producer of the well-known Greek biscuits such as Miranda, Petit per, Caprice & Gemista. Known to everyone in Greece, Papadopoulou is extremely popular among the Greek youth. Hence, we have as many as 40 Papadopoulou products in our range. Our range also offers artisan biscuits from Chrisanthidis. They make traditional biscuits of very high quality at their bakery in Kavala, and are known for their fine Christmas biscuits such as kourabiedes, melomakarona and moustokouloura.
There is something for everyone in our range: you can find biscuits with wholemeal flour or regular flour, with reduced sugar or with stevia sweeteners. The different flavours range from coconut to strawberry and lemon, order and find your favourite!
Biscuits in Greece are part of the culture. Greeks regularly walk to their local bakery and pick up some freshly baked biscuits. Supermarkets also have a huge range of different kinds of biscuits, a real dream for lovers. In Greece, there are also many biscuits that belong to certain holidays such as Christmas or Easter. At Christmas, mainly the kourabiedes (white icing sugar biscuits) and the melomakarona (cinnamon biscuits with honey and walnuts) are eaten. During Easter, on the other hand, the traditional twisted cinnamon, butter or vanilla biscuits are very popular, so there is always a biscuit to match!
